What’s been happening:

After a short teaching career in Pennsylvania, including at the Worthington Scranton Campus of PSU, I moved with my family to Puerto Rico. Over a 20 year period I taught language and communications at Turabo University and the University of Puerto Rico and served various times as department head and dean of studies. I was president of several organizations: Puerto Rico TESOL, International Association of Business Communicators and Association for Educational Communications and Technology, among them. For the past 25 years I have been active in the business community as a business newspaper editor, magazine writer and editor, and publications director for advertising and public relations agencies. Most recently I was president of Skal International Puerto Rico and I am editor of Que Pasa Puerto Rico Travel & Tourism, the official magazine of the Puerto Rico government. I live in the central mountains and spend most of my free time reading, writing or taking photographs. You can see some of my work at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rcfgunkle/.
